CAUTION:
Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT CAUTION

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to STEERING COLUMN TRIM COVERS REPLACEMENT in Steering Wheel and Column.
- Remove the multifunction switch. Refer to MULTIFUNCTION, TURN SIGNAL SWITCH REPLACEMENT in Steering Wheel and Column.
- Remove the retaining screw from the windshield wiper switch (2).
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the windshield wiper switch.
- Remove the windshield wiper switch (2) from the column (6).
