2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Installation Procedure

- Connect the electrical connector to the windshield wiper switch (2).
- Install the windshield wiper switch (2) to the column (6).NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the retaining screw to the windshield wiper switch (2).
TightenΒ
Tighten the screw to 4 N.m (38 lb in).
- Install the multifunction switch. Refer to MULTIFUNCTION, TURN SIGNAL SWITCH REPLACEMENT in Steering Wheel and Column.
- Install the steering column trim covers. Refer to STEERING COLUMN TRIM COVERS REPLACEMENT in Steering Wheel and Column.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Ensure that the windshield wiper switch (2) functions properly.
