Shift Cable
Set the parking brake. Remove the console. See CONSOLEΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Lift and unlock the shift cable retainers. See Fig 1 . Push the shifter neutral lock clip. See Fig 2 . Move the shifter slightly in order to center the lock clip. Ensure the transaxle is in Neutral. Press and lock the shift cable retainers. See Fig 3 . Pull the shifter neutral lock clip to its original position. Install the console.
