Removal Procedure
2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Removal Procedure

- Open the rear compartment.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the high mounted stop lamp.
- Remove the bulbs/sockets (1) from the high mounted stop lamp.
- Remove the bulbs from the sockets.
- Remove the rear window panel trim. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR WINDOW SHELF in Interior Trim.
- Pull the high mounted lamp (2) forward to disengage it from the retaining slots (3).
- Remove the high mounted stop lamp from the rear shelf lifting up and out.
