Installation Procedure
2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Installation Procedure

- Install the lower BPMV bracket (2) to the vacuum brake booster (1).
- Connect the master cylinder (5) to the vacuum brake booster (1).NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the master cylinder attaching nuts.
Tighten
Tighten the master cylinder attaching nuts to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).
- Install the EBCM/BPMV assembly (4) to the lower BPMV bracket (2). Refer to BRAKE PRESSURE MODULATOR VALVE (BPMV) REPLACEMENT .
- Perform the ABS AUTOMATED BLEED PROCEDURE .
- Perform the DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK - ABS .
