- Install the steering wheel (2) to the column (3).NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the steering wheel nut (1).
Tighten
Tighten the nut to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).
- Install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to SUPPLEMENTAL INFLATABLE RESTRAINT SYSTEM in SIR.
- Enable the SIR system. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM in SIR.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
