  1. Remove the tilt lever, if applicable, Refer t TILT LEVER REPLACEMENTΒ  .
  2. Remove the retaining screws (4) from the lower column trim cover (3).
  3. Remove the upper column trim cover (1) by tilting up and unsnapping from the lower column trim cover hinges (3).
  4. Remove the lower column trim cover (3) from the steering column (6).
