- Remove the tilt lever, if applicable, Refer t TILT LEVER REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the retaining screws (4) from the lower column trim cover (3).
- Remove the upper column trim cover (1) by tilting up and unsnapping from the lower column trim cover hinges (3).
- Remove the lower column trim cover (3) from the steering column (6).
