2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Installation Procedure

- Connect the electrical connectors to the multifunction switch (2).
- Install the multifunction switch (2) to the steering column while depressing the spring loaded horn pin.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the retaining screws to the multifunction switch (2).
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 4 N.m (36 lb in).
- Install the steering column trim covers. Refer to STEERING COLUMN TRIM COVERS REPLACEMENT .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Ensure that the multifunction switch functions properly.
