2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Installation Procedure

- Connect the electrical (3) to the ignition lock cylinder (1).
- Insert the ignition lock cylinder into the housing assembly (1) while rotating the key approximately 5 degrees counterclockwise.
- Install the steering column trim covers. Refer to STEERING COLUMN TRIM COVERS REPLACEMENT .
- Enable the SIR system. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM in SIR.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Perform the Passlock Learn Procedure. Refer to PROGRAMMING THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM COMPONENTS in Theft Deterrent.
