2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the appropriate headlamp assembly from the vehicle. Refer to Headlamp ReplacementΒ .
  2. Disconnect the headlamp wiring harness electrical connectors from the headlamp bulb/sockets.
  3. IMPORTANT: Note the linkage-to-motor relationship for reassembly.
  4. Remove the headlamp assembly pivot arm to the headlamp motor/actuator nut.
  5. Remove the bolts from headlamp motor/actuator.
  6. Remove the headlamp motor/actuator from the headlamp.
