2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the AIR solenoid valve.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the AIR solenoid valve retaining nut.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the AIR solenoid valve retaining nut to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

  5. Install the vacuum hoses to the AIR solenoid valve.
  6. Install the electrical connector to the AIR solenoid valve.
  7. Install the right wheelhouse filler panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Filler Replacement in Body Front End.
