- Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
- Remove the hub and bearing assembly. Refer to WHEEL BEARING/HUB REPLACEMENT - FRONT .
- Remove the wheel stud (1) from the hub and bearing assembly (2) using the J 43631 .
- Discard the stud.
