2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Installation Procedure

- Install the hub and bearing assembly (1) into the steering knuckle (2) and drive axle shaft.
- Install the hub bearing mounting bolts (1). Tighten the bolts to 95 N.m (70 ft lbs).
- Install the drive axle shaft nut. Tighten the drive axle shaft nut to 200 N.m (148 ft lbs).
- Install the brake rotor.
- Install the tire and wheel assemblies.
- Inspect the front wheel alignment. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS .
