2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Installation Procedure

- Install the new stud from the back side of the hub.
- Install the four flat washers (3) on the hub.
- Install the wheel nut with the flat side toward the washers.
- Tighten the nut until the stud is properly seated in the hub flange.
- Remove the nut and the washers.
- Install the brake drum. Refer to Brake Drum Replacement in Drum Brakes.
- Install the tire and the wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
- Lower the vehicle.
