2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Installation Procedure

- Position the wiper transmission to the wiper drive system module tube frame.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the wiper transmission screws.
Tighten:Β Tighten the screws to 9 N.m (79 lb in).
- Install the wiper transmission caps.
- Apply grease to the motor crank arm pivot.
- Using theJ 39529Β , connect the wiper transmission to the wiper motor crank arm. See Special Tools and EquipmentΒ .
- Position the wiper drive system module to the vehicle.
- Install the wiper drive system module screws.
Tighten:Β Tighten the screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Connect the wiper motor electrical connector.
- Install the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
- Inspect the wipers for proper operation.
