2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Relief Procedure

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.
- Connect the J 34730-1AΒ to the fuel pressure connection. See Special Tools and EquipmentΒ . Refer to Fuel Pressure Gage Installation and RemovalΒ .
- Install the bleed hose into an approved container and open the valve to bleed the system pressure. The fuel connections are now safe for servicing.
- Disconnect the fuel pressure gage from the fuel pressure connection. Refer to Fuel Pressure Gage Installation and RemovalΒ .
