2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the upper air cleaner screws.
  2. Remove the upper air cleaner cover (1).

  3. Remove the air cleaner filter (2) from lower air cleaner housing (3).
  4. Inspect the air cleaner filter for dust, dirt and water.
  5. Replace if required. Refer to Maintenance Schedule - Short Trip/City or Maintenance Schedule - Long Trip/Highway in Maintenance and Lubrication.
