Removal Procedure
2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Removal Procedure

- Remove the rear shelf trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window Shelf in Interior Trim.
- Disconnect the coaxial cable lead from the digital receiver (4).
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the receiver (4).
- Remove the child tether attachment bolt (3) from the receiver bracket (2).
- Lift the receiver bracket (2) at a 45 degree angle to disengage the locating tabs from the slots in the rear shelf (5).
- Remove the receiver (4) from the rear shelf (5).
IMPORTANT:
Do not swap digital radio receivers between vehicles. Swapping digital receivers between vehicles will activate the digital radio Theftlock®, and "XM Theftlock®" will display.
