2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Removal Procedure

    IMPORTANT: Do not swap digital radio receivers between vehicles. Swapping digital receivers between vehicles will activate the digital radio Theftlock®, and "XM Theftlock®" will display.
  1. Remove the rear shelf trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window Shelf in Interior Trim.
  2. Disconnect the coaxial cable lead from the digital receiver (4).
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the receiver (4).
  4. Remove the child tether attachment bolt (3) from the receiver bracket (2).
  5. Lift the receiver bracket (2) at a 45 degree angle to disengage the locating tabs from the slots in the rear shelf (5).
  6. Remove the receiver (4) from the rear shelf (5).
