- Open the hood.
- Remove the right headlamp assembly. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb Replacement (Pontiac) or to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker, Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement (Chevrolet) .
- Disconnect the daytime running lamp (DRL) resistor electrical connector.
- Remove the DRL resistor bolt.
- Remove the DRL resistor from the frame rail.
