2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect ProcedureΒ .
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors (3,4) from the starter.

  4. Remove the starter bolts.

  5. Remove the starter.
