2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Lower the headliner enough to gain access to the opening in the overhead compartment. Refer to Headliner Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Disconnect the wire harness electrical connection (2) for the OnStar microphone (3).
  3. With a flat-bladed tool disengage the retaining tabs (4) on the microphone (3).

  4. Push the microphone (3) out of the overhead console (1).
  5. Route the electrical connector (2) through the opening in the overhead console (1).
