Removal Procedure

2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Open and support the rear lift window panel.

  2. Disconnect the lower rear defogger electrical connector from the strut.
  3. Reposition the retaining clip outward from the strut's lower ball socket using a small flat-bladed tool.
  4. Pull the strut from the lower ball stud.

  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the upper end of the strut.
  6. Remove the strut from the upper ball stud.
