2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the rear locator to the locator bracket.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the roof rear locator to locator bracket bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  2. Install the bracket with the locator to the roof center bow.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the roof rear locator bracket bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  3. Check and adjust the roof panel as necessary. Refer to ROOF LIFT OFF PANEL ADJUSTMENT  . 
  4. Install the roof bow center interior trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR ROOF BOW in Interior trim.
