DTC sets when passenger deployment loop voltage and resistance tests are not within a specified range.
DTC will set if:
- IGNITION POSITIVE VOLTAGE is within normal operating range.
- Passenger frontal deployment loop is not open.
- Passenger frontal deployment loop is not shorted to voltage.
- Passenger frontal deployment loop is not shorted to ground.
- Passenger frontal deployment loop resistance is less than 1.3 ohms for 300 milliseconds.
