Removal Procedure

2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - DOOR in Doors.
  2. Disconnect the electrical/audio connector from the front door radio speaker assembly.

    Important:Β  The speaker assembly is only held in place by retaining screws. Be sure to support the speaker assembly upon removal.

  3. Remove the screws retaining the front door speaker assembly to the door.
  4. Remove the front door speaker assembly.
