CLN (Clean) Indicator

This message may appear on the VF display. If it does appear on the VF display the cassette player needs to be cleaned. Clean the player as soon as possible to help prevent permanent damage to tapes and to the player itself. Refer to CASSETTE PLAYER CARE AND CLEANINGΒ .

To reset the CLN indicator after the player has been cleaned perform the following procedure:

  1. Press and hold EJECT for five seconds.
  2. "- - -" will appear on the VF display to verify that the indicator is reset.
