Installation Procedure
- Install the driveline tunnel closeout panel into position.
- Install the bolt into the closeout panel locating hole (1).
- Install the bolt into the closeout panel slotted hole (2)NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
Important:Β ALL of the driveline tunnel closeout panel bolts must be installed and torqued to specifications, the closeout panel functions as a part of the vehicle body structure.
- Install the remaining bolts.
TightenΒ
Tighten the driveline tunnel closeout panel bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the catalytic converters. Refer to CATALYTIC CONVERTER REPLACEMENT in Engine Exhaust.
- Lower the vehicle.
