Removal Procedure

- Turn OFF the ignition switch.
- Raise the vehicle on a suitable safety stand. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE .
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION in Tires and Wheels.
- Disconnect the position sensor connector (3).
- Remove the position sensor harness retainers.
- Remove the position sensor link from the control arm link stud (2).
- Remove the position sensor mounting bolts (4).
- Remove the position sensor (1) from the vehicle.
