Automatic Door Locks

The Automatic Door Lock (ADL) operation is controlled by the Door Control Module (DCM). The following locking functions are available:

  • Auto Lock.
  • Auto Unlock.

On manual transmission models, ADL will automatically lock driver's and passenger's doors when vehicle reaches speed of 10 MPH (16 km/h) or greater. On automatic transmission models, ADL will automatically lock driver's and passenger's doors when vehicle is shifted from PARK position. On all models, doors can be programmed to automatically unlock driver's or both doors when ignition is turned off and key is remove from ignition switch. ADL operation can be customized.
