- Rotate the recirculation door lever fully forward clockwise and hold in place.
- Connect the recirculation actuator plunger rod to the recirculation door lever, then extend the plunger.
- Inspect that the recirculation actuator pushrod is not binding on the recirculation door lever.
- Push the recirculation actuator toward the HVAC module case to secure the retaining tab.
- Release the recirculation door lever.
- Connect the vacuum harness connector to the recirculation actuator.
- Install the SIR bracket. Refer to BRACKET REPLACEMENT - SIR in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
