2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Installation Procedure

- Install the pulley to the power steering pump using the J 25033-CΒ . Ensure that the face of the pulley is flush with the pump drive shaft.
- Install the power steering pump to the engine. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (2.2L (LN2))Β or POWER STEERING PUMP REPLACEMENT (2.2L (L61) & 2.4L (LD9))Β .
- Install the drive belt on the power steering pump. Refer to the following procedures DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT - 2.2L (LN2) or DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT - 2.2L (L61) or DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT - 2.4L (LD9) .
- Fill the power steering pump with power steering fluid. Refer to Checking and Adding Power Steering FluidΒ . Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Bleeding the Power Steering SystemΒ .
