- Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the hub and bearing assembly. Refer to Wheel Bearing/Hub Replacement - Front .
- Remove the wheel stud (1) from the hub and bearing assembly (2) using the J 43631.
- Discard the stud.
