2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Installation Procedure

- If removed install the front cover gasket.
- Install the engine front cover.
- Install the engine front cover to water pump bolt. Tighten the engine front cover to water pump bolt to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
- Install the remaining engine front cover bolts. Tighten the remaining engine front cover bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
- Install the drive belt tensioner.
- Install the drive belt tensioner bolt. Tighten the drive belt tensioner bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).
- Install the crankcase balancer.
