- Position the hood hold open rod retainer to the radiator support. Press in until fully seated.
- Push the hood hold open rod (2) into the retainer until fully seated.
- Install the retainer clip (1).
- Position the rod in the clip (1).
- Remove the hood support.
- Close the hood.
