Installation Procedure

2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Position the rear transaxle.
  2. Start the rear transaxle mount bolts.
  3. Install the transaxle mount through-bolt.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolt to 75 N.m (55 lb. ft).

  4. Remove the following items from under the transaxle:
    • The wood block
    • The jack stand
  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Install the rear bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 75 N.m (55 lb. ft).
