2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the shift cables from the shifter assembly. Refer to Shift Control Cable ReplacementΒ .
  2. Disconnect the shift interlock cable.

  3. Remove the 2 front mounting nuts.

  4. Remove the 2 rear mounting bolts and the shifter.
