2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Installation Procedure

- Install the intake manifold assembly.
- Install the intake manifold to cylinder head bolts and the nuts.
- Tighten nuts and bolts to 24 N.m (17 ft lbs).
- Tighten studs to 12 N.m (107 in lbs).
- Route wiring harness.
- Raise vehicle.
- Connect the following components:
- EVAP purge solenoid
- Camshaft sensor
- Crankshaft sensor
- VSS
- Knock sensor
- Back-up lamp switch
- Oxygen sensor
- Oil pressure switch
- Install the fuel rail.
- Connect the MAP sensor.
- Install the throttle body.
- Install the resonator bracket/fuel rail cover.
- Install the resonator.
- Install the air cleaner inlet duct (1).
