Steering Column Lock System Check

- Turn ignition on. Steering column should unlock and listed scan tool parameters should display the following:
- Lock State - IGN ON UNLOCKED
- Key In - ACTIVE
- Column Feedback - ACTIVE
- Turn ignition off, leaving key inserted. Steering column should remain unlocked and listed scan tool parameters should display the following:
- Lock State - IGN OFF UNLOCKED
- Key In - ACTIVE
- Column Feedback - ACTIVE
- Remove key from ignition switch. Steering column should lock and listed scan tool parameters should display the following:
- Lock State - IGN OFF LOCKED
- Key In - INACTIVE
- Column Feedback - INACTIVE
- Reinsert key into ignition switch. Steering column should remain locked and listed scan tool parameters should display the following:
- Lock State - IGN OFF LOCKED
- Key In - ACTIVE
- Column Feed Back - INACTIVE
- Turn ignition on. Steering column should unlock and listed scan tool parameters should display the following:
- Lock State - IGN ON UNLOCKED
- Key In - ACTIVE
- Column Feedback - ACTIVE
