Code Enable Criteria
2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Code Enable Criteria
- Key On Test
- No generator, CKP sensor, or CMP sensor DTCs are set.
- Key is in RUN position.
- Engine is not running.
- Run Test
- No generator, CKP sensors, or CMP sensor DTCs are set.
- Engine speed is less than 3000 RPM.
DTC sets when:
- Key On Test
PCM detects a PWM signal more than 65 percent for at least 5 seconds. - Run Test
PCM detects a PWM signal less than 5 percent for at least 15 seconds.

When to See a Mechanic
