Fitting Pistons
Measure diameter of piston at a 90-degree angle to piston pin, at .47" (12 mm) up from center of piston skirt tail. If piston clearance exceeds specification, replace pistons and/or machine cylinders. See PISTONS, PINS & RINGS and CYLINDER BLOCK tables under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS.
