NOTE:
DTCs cannot be cleared by disconnecting EBCM, disconnecting negative battery cable, or by turning ignition off. DTCs can only be cleared by using a scan tool. DTCs will be erased when ignition is cycled 100 times without fault reappearing. The ignition cycle counter in EBCM will be reset to zero.
- Connect scan tool. Before clearing DTCs, check and note current DTC data. Select ABS/ETS function. Select DTC(S) function and then CLEAR CODES function.
- Verify DTCs are cleared. If other DTCs are displayed, either DTCs were not cleared or ABS/ETS fault still exists. Diagnose fault and repeat procedure.
