- Ignition is on.
- System voltage is 8-18 volts.
DTC sets if PCM detects a closed brake switch or circuit (12 volts) during vehicle deceleration and the following conditions occur 8 times:
- Vehicle speed is more than 20 MPH for 6 seconds;
- Then, vehicle speed is 5-20 MPH for 3 seconds;
- Then, vehicle speed is less than 5 MPH.
