2001 Chevrolet C3500 HD 8.1 G, AutomaticSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

    Install the glow plug.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the glow plug to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

  2. Install the buss bar and wiring.
  3. Install the glow plug electrical nut.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nut to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).

  4. Install the Air Cleaner Outlet Duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  5. Install the wheel well housing. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement .
  6. Connect the batteries.
