  1. Install the new seal on the fuel tank. Ensure seal is not twisted or damaged during installation or fuel leaks may result.
  2. Install the fuel sender assembly into the fuel tank.
  3. Install the fuel sender assembly retaining ring using the J 44402 .
  4. Install fuel pipe assembly from tank. Refer to Fuel Hose/Pipe Assembly Replacement (Chassis to Tank)Β .
  5. Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Pickup)Β , Fuel Tank Replacement (Cab-Chassis Primary Tank)Β , Fuel Tank Replacement (Cab-Chassis Auxilary Tank)Β .
