- Install the new seal on the fuel tank. Ensure seal is not twisted or damaged during installation or fuel leaks may result.
- Install the fuel sender assembly into the fuel tank.
- Install the fuel sender assembly retaining ring using the J 44402 .
- Install fuel pipe assembly from tank. Refer to Fuel Hose/Pipe Assembly Replacement (Chassis to Tank)Β .
- Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Pickup)Β , Fuel Tank Replacement (Cab-Chassis Primary Tank)Β , Fuel Tank Replacement (Cab-Chassis Auxilary Tank)Β .
