- Remove the fuel sender assembly. Refer to Fuel Sender Assembly Replacement .
- Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from under the fuel sender cover.
- Remove the sensor retaining clip (3).
- Squeeze the locking tangs (2) and remove the fuel level sensor.
