  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator (2) and nut (1). Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator ReplacementΒ .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  3. Remove the ignition coil wire to the distributor.

  5. Remove the accelerator cable bracket. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly ReplacementΒ .

  7. Remove the studs holding the bracket and the ignition coil to the intake manifold.
  8. Remove the bracket and the ignition coil.
  9. Drill and punch out the two rivets holding the ignition coil to the bracket.
  10. Remove the ignition coil from the bracket.
