    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Remove the negative battery cables.
  2. Remove the glow plug lead wires using the J 39083  and installer. See Special Tools .
  3. Fig 1: Glow Plugs (Cylinders 1, 3, 5 & 7)

  4. Remove the glow plugs (1) from cylinders 1, 3, 5 and 7.
