Left-Side Power Mirror Inoperative In Left/Right Positions
2000 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger, 7.4 JSECTION Left-Side Power Mirror Inoperative In Left/Right Positions
- Disconnect left-side power mirror harness connector. Connect test light between left-side power mirror harness connector terminal "E" (Light Blue wire) and ground. See Figure . Move power mirror switch to left mirror, left position. If test light illuminates, replace left-side power mirror. See POWER MIRROR ASSEMBLYΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If test light does not illuminate, go to next step.
- Using a test light connected to ground, backprobe power mirror switch harness connector terminal "B" (Light Blue wire). See Figure . Move power mirror switch to left position. If test light does not illuminate, replace power mirror switch. If test light illuminates, repair open in Light Blue wire between left-side power mirror connector terminal "E" and power mirror switch connector terminal "B". See WIRING DIAGRAMSΒ .
