Right-Side Power Mirror Inoperative In Up/Down Positions
2000 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Cargo, 4.3 WSECTION Right-Side Power Mirror Inoperative In Up/Down Positions
- Disconnect right-side power mirror harness connector. Connect test light between right-side power mirror harness connector terminal "D" (Purple/White wire) and ground. See Figure . Move power mirror switch to right mirror, down position. If test light does not illuminate, go to next step. If test light illuminates, replace right-side power mirror. See POWER MIRROR ASSEMBLYΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Using a test light connected to ground, backprobe right-side power mirror switch harness connector terminal "D" (Purple/White wire). See Figure . Move power mirror switch to down position. If test light does not illuminate, replace power mirror switch. If test light illuminates, repair open in Purple/White wire between right-side power mirror connector terminal "D" and power mirror switch connector terminal "F". See WIRING DIAGRAMSΒ .
