Test A: Power Seat Inoperative

- If power seat system check has been performed, go to next step. If power seat system check has not been performed, go to POWER SEAT SYSTEM CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
- Disconnect 2-pin connector C307 (for driver's seat) or C306 (for passenger's seat). Connect a test light between ground and connector C306 or C307 terminal "A" (Orange wire). If test light illuminates, go to step 4 . If test light does not illuminate, go to next step.
- Repair open in Orange wire between connect C306 or C307 and instrument panel fuse block. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Go to step 7 .
- Reconnect connector C306 or C307. Disconnect suspect power seat switch harness connector. Check continuity between ground and power seat switch harness connector terminal "C" (Black wire). If continuity exists, go to step 6 . If continuity does not exist, go to next step.
- Repair open in Black wire between power seat switch and ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Go to step 7 .
- Replace suspect power seat switch. See POWER SEAT ADJUSTER SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Go to step 7 .
- Retest system. See POWER SEAT SYSTEM CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTING. If symptom still exists, go to step 2 . If symptom does not exist, system is okay.
